Qualifying individuals and organizations may join NACBA or renew membership online or by using the PDF form. The form can be completed in your browser. You may print and fax or snail mail it to the NACBA office. DO NOT email it as an attachment as your credit information will not be encrypted and secure. Online application is over a secure encrypted connection and you can either use credit or a electronic check as payment.

Classifications of membership
Active $150.00  (voting) membership may be granted to those who are employed (paid) full-time or part-time on the staff of a Christian church in a business administration or administrative capacity. This may include denominational members with like responsibilities who serve at other levels of their denominations such as Presbyteries, Synods, Conferences, Dioceses, et cetera; and active duty members of the United States Armed Forces who are assigned duties as Chapel Manager, Chaplain’s Assistant, or other Christian business administrative duties in their military service.

Associate $120.00 (voting) membership may be granted to those engaged in an activity closely related to Christian business administration in a Christian institution or not-for-profit organization.

Active and Associate must adhere to the NACBA Code of Ethics.

Emeritus Status  Application for Emeritus Status
The Board of Directors will use the following guidelines for granting the Emeritus status: Those applying for Emeritus status should have been an Active or Associate member for:
1. at least ten years,
2. attended the Annual Conference a minimum of five times,
3. attained age 55, and
4. entered into a retirement recognized by the local congregation or institution for whom the applicant last worked. It is further understood that retirement means that the applicant is not engaged in any full-time Christian business administration employment.

Applications received by January 30th will be considered at the Spring Board Meeting (March); by May 30th will be considered at the Summer Board Meeting (July); and by September 30th will be considered at the Fall Board Meeting (November).

Business $250.00  (non-voting) membership may be granted to individuals or individuals who represent organizations wishing to join NACBA for commercial purposes and who desire to join in the support of NACBA, its purposes, and its programs. This category includes those individuals, or individuals representing organizations, that provide consulting services to churches.

Student $35.00 (non-voting) membership may be granted to individuals who are full-time students in a college or seminary and are not actively engaged in any way in Christian business administration as a vocation, but who are interested in church business administration. Student membership is limited to not more than a five-year period. 

Affiliate $120.00 (non-voting) membership is for individuals who do not meet the definitions for Active, Associate, or Business membership. Volunteers (unpaid) both full-time and part-time should join as Affiliate.

Additional Member $100.00  from the same organization.
